Kailas Robotics Co., Ltd. (Kawaguchi City, Saitama, Japan) has been chosen as a co-working member of the "Japan Innovation Campus," a startup support base in Silicon Valley, USA, established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI).
To create a global startup ecosystem in Japan and foster competitive startups worldwide, it's crucial to network with top startup ecosystems abroad. For this purpose, the METI has established the "Japan Innovation Campus" in Silicon Valley (Palo Alto City), USA, in collaboration with local industry, academia, and government. This initiative aims to support Japanese startups aspiring for global expansion.
"Japan Innovation Campus" collaborates with local accelerators, venture capitals, private enterprises, top-tier academic institutions like Stanford University and the University of California, Berkeley, and administrative organizations like JETRO. It aids Japanese startups in funding and business development in the USA and facilitates collaborations between Japanese enterprises and American startups and VCs.
Dambadarjaa Munkhbayar, CEO of Kailas Robotics, said,
"Our company is participating in the IPP program at U.C. Berkeley's SkyDeck, one of the world's top accelerators. Being selected as a co-working member of the 'Japan Innovation Campus' in Palo Alto will further accelerate our international expansion. We express our gratitude to the METI for this selection. The robotic arm we are developing for moving platforms is capable of grasping objects while in motion and is characterized by its lightweight and precision control. Considering the ongoing global decline in the labor force, we believe this technology will become increasingly essential. Based at the 'Japan Innovation Campus,' we aspire to launch world-class technologies and products.
